I’ve been unable to find ways to connect with people out in the community, and of course thinking “okay, maybe what I know and do isn’t what they need.”
Last week a few folks from Project Read dropped by and I happened out and talked to them about our space and that I’d be glad to help them navigate technology, etc. Next week I have a zoom meeting scheduled.
Today the coordinator dropped by b/c at their meeting that day they thought it would be a good idea to do a little video. Not big explanations, just ‘hey, I’m here!’ I typed out a script and read it … and … maybe that’s how to explain What I Do and Who I am. He’s only here Wednesdays and he’d have done a longer one here and now but … I need more processing time 😉 It’s encouraging, though.
