The amount of help I gave a student just now… it’s not scalable, except when it is. Getting somebody through something complicated for the first time *can* mean they’re still dependent, etc., but it can also mean that they start expecting success. And when it’s the third or fourth time — yes, they’re taking more ownership.
Puerto Rico. Mexico City. Hurricanes and earthquakes. The world is falling apart 😦 That’s not even counting politics.
