Single lessons… out of context…

I’m revising and remixing an “order of operations” lesson.

IT’s all well and good, but … if you haven’t been working with me, do you already know about a good way to break the problems down as you go?   Do you understand that “do the parentheses first” is more complicated than that — that you need to do what is *in* parentheses first, but sometimes parentheses aren’t around something to do… have we worked in the conquering fears as you go if that applies to you…

Okay, I don’t really  hate it, but note to self:   put together a framework that includes the other threads that go through the lessons — frame them as instructional routines.  Do that after the lunch bicycle ride 🙂
