So our tech people put a head on a tripod and set it up to look out into the hall.
It made people jump and shriek, and usually laugh.
This morning, a paper was taped on the window that said people could see the head if they looked behind the paper but that the paper was there because combat vets (and “anybody”) might not find a “disembodied head staring” funny. That’s the way it was when I went to deliver my orientation presentation; both had been removed upon my return.
Prob’ly not the best way to “git er dun” but… it was pretty fast and effective. Going through “channels” would have involved people who are fighting lots of other fights right now. I know our student advocate dean was online and “avaliable” according to Outlook, late into the night.
