I’ve always thought “TWC” — twitter math camp — was something I could miss… and I generally have to ’cause it fills up really fast.
However, http://borschtwithanna.blogspot.com/2016/07/tmc16-recap.html informs me that *serious* time was spent exploring “instructional routines,” and Anna Blinstein’s blog where she learns that thing that it took me immersion at The New Community School — that structure really *is* extremely liberating for students makes me wish I’d been there (my little introverted, “I know I’m an outsider” self aside). Kinda like the bikejournal gathering….
https://lazyocho.com/2016/07/20/tmc16-reflections/ has reflections and pictures of notes from all the sessions. Oh, and he shipped his bicycle there — definitely a man after my own heart 🙂
Hope they figure out a way to make it fit more people next year…. and hope I can figure out how to do it.
Let’s see, the other pages I have up because they’re stuff I have to follow up on are https://lincs.ed.gov/programs/digital-literacy and https://teacher.desmos.com/activitybuilder/custom/578931cd4dfb4c2814ec91ac# … oh, and the stuff for adult ed math in ILlinois.
