Some of the attempts at real-whirldliness are a tad absurd.

Let c be Calfin’s savings, and write an expression for

“73 less than twice Calfin’s savings.”

Just pondering, ever so briefly, what “real world” situation would have me *subtracting* twice the amount of what I have saved from 73.   Hopefully it was short term savings…
