Section six, almost done…

… I think I’m just a peer review or two away from being finished with the sixth of eight sections of “How to learn math” . She mentioned that a “student version” of this is coming out for the fall — that woudl be a course for people who were in the “learning math” as opposed to the teaching one, and that it would have bells, whistles, and animations.
Two inspirations: first, to animate the three main kinds of “subtraction” — in a few different ways, so you can pick … and then, to ask the students to do that. Maybe a Vine ? I can have the “Gravity” version and take away the dog’s head, compare the heights of two dogs, and then have a “how much to add?” to the dog food bowl scenario…
