We’ve had the “concepts” class MOnday and Wednesday. ONe lady described doing her homework, which involved creating word problem situations based on dining out, with her daughter, who fished a Red Lobster receipt from her bag. I love the notion that math is something you do with your family that’s fun 🙂
Nobody’s spent time with Dreambox yet. Won’t see ’em again ’til next Wednesday what with the King holiday Monday… and so far it has been *hectic* and no chance to even open the computer to pretend to add to my animated word problem (and… I still have a sudden need to make tea, wash the dishes or do a load of laundry when I do… it’s still an Intimidating Project. Still, getting a little in each day…)
