anti math people ism?

Here is yet another person saying that as far as he could tell, the critiques of SK are nitpicking.

Now, is that based on anything?  Does he say, “I watched N videos and they seemed accurate to me?”  Can he back up what he says?  Well, no… but that’s not important.
Does he say, “I know that these videos had a lot of work  put into them because…” oops, these videos were one-take wonders where no, he didn’t really know what to say.  That’s not important.

It’s just “obvious” that math teacher types are nitpickers.   We must be.  Hey, it’s so picky to *insist* that we know what 2 + 2 is!   And hey, Khan’s videos are simpler!  They’re not right, and what he says won’t hold up when you actually have to know this stuff… but that’s not important.

The really frustrating thing is that yes, too many math teachers are validly perceived as nitpickers, too…
