“the six talk”

Dry, sardonic comment from across table: “You don’t want to have to have the six talk.”
Pause for the spontaneous giggles. “Six is evil, demonic, the devil’s spawn.”
It’s the Big Factoring Practice Packet time… about 200 problems… and I was explaining that if the last number is six, you have to be very careful with signs; that 5 in the middle could be from x – 1 by x+ 6 … or x – 2 and x – 3.
We’re almost there 😉
