So, over at the Drexel Math Forums — where you’dathunk they’d be all constructivist… this is a typical post:

Announcing the grand opening of WatchDoLearn.com

This simple website ties short instructional videos to practice worksheets on the same topic.

Most of the videos are from Khan Academy and most of the worksheets are from Math-Drills.com

The topics covered are geometry, percents, fractions, multiplication and division, addition and subtraction, and place value.

What I want to know is: what does NCTM say about this? Worksheets and drills, worksheets and drills… gosh, why do people not like math?
