Bouncing ideas

It’s spring break, so I’vebeen seeing the dedicated students who have lives that don’t lend themselves to road trips to the Keys.  Student just walked in feeling a tad overwhelmed about a writing/presentation project.  He didn’t know where to begin. He didn’t know what to do.  Then he said, ‘well, I know what I *was* going to do it on…” and I got him to explain.   He did so, rather eloquently.  When we realized that was a perfeclty good first two minutes of the seven-minute presentation, and that when he went to his sources for documented support he’d have as many minutes more as he needed, he left a much happier man.  He’s going to have a good presentation (he was scheduling when he could work on it, too).
